A progressive syllabus in technique, performance and catwalk skills — built to develop confidence and poise, and to feed straight back into a dancer's other classes.
The modelling syllabus is structured, progressive and taught safely — and it is one of the best confidence builders we offer. It can be started at any age at Junior, Intermediate or Senior level.
It is also a genuinely useful subject for a dancer. The discipline it demands and the awareness of line, placing and presentation it teaches feed directly back into every other class. Students come out of it more aware of how they carry themselves, better at working in a team, and considerably better at walking into a room.
- Interview — developing communication skills and the ability to speak for yourself.
- Technical — the placing of feet, body and arm lines.
- Catwalk — patterning work that builds coordination and technical skill in performance.
- Fashion — working through daywear, swimwear, evening wear and more as the grades progress.
Comfortable clothes for the technical work, and a heel you can walk in confidently for catwalk sections. We will advise before you buy anything.
