Dancemania Dance Company is one of the longest standing dance schools in Oxfordshire, offering 42 classes a week across 8 venues — for dancers training towards a career, and for dancers who come because it is the best hour of their week.
Every style, from age two and a half
Ballet, tap, modern jazz, street and commercial, breakdance and hip hop, lyrical and contemporary, musical theatre, acro gymnastics and modelling — plus a full adult programme. Every new student is welcome to a free trial class first.

Every child is different
For almost thirty years we have taught children to dance, and the most important thing we have learned is that no two of them arrive the same. Every dancer has their own personality, confidence, strengths and way of learning — so we do not teach every child in exactly the same way.
We watch.
We listen.
We encourage.
We adapt.
Sometimes a child needs a little extra confidence. Sometimes they need to be challenged. Sometimes they need patience. And sometimes they simply need someone to believe in them.
What we are proudest of is watching dancers grow. Students join us as little ones and stay right through their school years, leaving for university as confident, capable young people — having made friendships, found their people, learned resilience, and become part of something. A lot of those friendships outlast their time here.

We teach dance and acro gymnastics in Witney, Kidlington, Ducklington, Minster Lovell, Freeland and Burford.
- Witney Our largest venue and the home of most of the timetable — from Pre-School Ballet on up to the Senior Performance Group, plus the full adult programme.
- Kidlington A full children's programme on the north side of Oxford — ballet, tap, jazz, street, musical theatre and acro, from pre-school classes upwards.
- Ducklington A smaller village venue running combined junior classes alongside ballet, tap and lyrical.
- Minster Lovell Our adult evening classes run here, alongside combined junior classes.
- Freeland Jazz, commercial and street classes in the village, alongside the combined junior programme.
- Burford Ballet, tap, jazz and acro at the western edge of our area, including pre-school classes.

Any new student is welcome to take part in a trial session free of charge — no uniform to buy, no commitment, and no obligation to come back. It is the only honest way to find out whether a class is right for your dancer.
