Our teachers have years of experience across every discipline and can develop a dancer whether they are an absolute beginner or training professionally. Students can work towards examinations, medal tests and competitions, and we hold a professional show every two years.

Ages 2–4

Pre-School Ballet & Tap

A first taste of ballet and tap for our youngest dancers, taught through stories, fairytale music and props — so it feels like play, because at this age it should.

Three disciplines in one class, so a child can find what they love before committing to it. The foundation year of most Dancemania dancers.

Classical ballet technique and terminology, building the strength, balance and confidence that underpin every other style — with pointe work for dancers who are ready for it.

Lyrical & Contemporary

The style where technique meets storytelling. A collaborative form drawing on modern, jazz, ballet and hip hop, danced for the meaning as much as the movement.

Musical Theatre

Acting, singing and dancing in one class, training the triple threat that Performing Arts schools and West End auditions actually ask for.

Acro / Gymnastics

Artistic gymnastics discipline blended with the musicality of dance — strength, flexibility and acrobatic skill, taught progressively on proper equipment.

5 years upwards

Acro Rhythmic Dance

A fusion of dance, acrobatics and rhythmic gymnastics. More dance than gymnastics — fluidity, grace and control, with ribbons and apparatus woven into routines.

Modelling Course

A progressive syllabus in technique, performance and catwalk skills — built to develop confidence and poise, and to feed straight back into a dancer's other classes.

Performance Group

Our Junior and Senior Performance Groups — for dancers who want to compete, perform and train at a higher intensity. By invitation and audition.

Not sure where to start?

Age is usually the answer: two and a half to four and a half go into Pre-School Ballet & Tap, five to nine into the combined Ballet, Tap & Jazz class, and from there dancers move into the styles they love. If you would rather just ask a human, please do.
